Cocoa Butter (Tonya Riddick) has been in radio for 20 years. She attended Shaw University and NSU, and wants to go back and finish.
She served her country in the United States Army for ten years, doing one tour in Germany. That service taught her to not take the little things for granted, like being able to use the bathroom by yourself, inside a building, when it’s raining outside.

She’s a single mother of one handsome son, Bakari, who keeps her laughing and keeps her young and is the light of her eye.

She also enjoys promoting literacy through her Reading and Succeeding Program, visiting schools, daycares, churches and community centers reading stories to school age children.
